Can the Rafale give India the Technological Flying Combat Edge ?

36 Rafale fighters for Rs 59,000 crore (7.87 billion euro) as per deal inked with France on Sept 23, 2016. Will these Jets provide the necessary technological combat edge to India against a numerically superior China ?

Squadron to be based at West Bengal ::
First Rafale to come by Nov 2019. All 36 fighters by 2022. First squadron of Rafales to be based at Hasimar close to China.
