This August 15, watch a stunning documentary on Indian Navy

Indian Navy, the naval branch of Indian armed forces, is the fifth largest navy in the world. It's a well-balanced three-dimensional force, capable of operating above, on and under the surface of the ocean under trying conditions. A documentary exploring life inside Asia's largest naval academy, the Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala in Kannur district, will have its world premiere on National Geographic Channel on August 15.

The one and half minute trailer which is being aired on TV for quite a some time is already engrossing enough to give you goosebumps. It shows how the cadets undergo extreme physical duress on both the land and under water.

The documentary while showcasing the strength and determination of naval officers, who are tasked to protect the nation, also aims to show the life of cadets undergoing training, an INA release said on Thursday. The academy has been designated as a 'prestigious' project of national importance and shapes the Indian Navy's future leadership, with an aim to produce morally straight, intellectually strong and physically fit officers with clear articulation, good grooming and developed mentoring abilities, the release said.

The documentary would be telecast at 9 PM on Independence Day.
